Cestrum elegans

Description

We’re really not sure why it’s sometimes called ‘the bastard Jasmine’; possibly the flowers have a similar shape. This is a elegant plant (hence the name). It’s rather tender  with slightly pendulous branches that bear deep red sweetly fragrant flowers throughout the winter months. All parts of this plant are poisonous, but it is a thing of beauty.
