Description

This plant is called the Shell Ginger because its fragrant waxy pink flowers are said to resemble sea shells and also because its roots tend to smell of ginger. Although it’s claimed that they will survive outdoors, it’s probably best to keep them inside in Winter, particularly because they only flower in their second year.
