Fabaceae. Delicate, finely cut, bronze purple foliage is accompanied by magnificent feathery purple and cream blooms throughout the summer months. This lovely Silk Tree can be planted in sheltered borders outdoors, or grown in a large patio container for a beautiful feature in your conservatory.
Grow in a pot in a cool, bright position until large enough to plant outside. Prior to transplanting, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant a sheltered position in any well drained soil in full sun. In particularly cold areas, it is best grown in a cool conservatory or planted in a patio container that can be moved to a sheltered position over winter.
