Deelish Garden Centre Supplier of Rare Plants in Ireland

Deelish Garden Centre was established over two decades ago as one of the first plant centres in the West Cork area. As our knowledge and the publics enthusiasm for new varieties grew, so did the range of our stock. About ten years ago we decided to initiate Unicorn Nurseries, dedicated solely to the acquisition and propagation of unusual plants, particularly trees and shrubs. We chose to define 'unusual' as any plant difficult or impossible to obtain through normal outlets in Ireland.


Because of both our geographical location and our own interests, we have tended to concentrate on more tender species, though we also offer a selection of more temperate plants and an expanding range of species and hybrid Rhododendrons.

We often have small numbers of plants at our nursery which are not included on the stock lists so it might be well worth a visit if you are in the area. And of course we also stock a very complete range of more common garden centre plants. We are located alongside the Ilen river, about 1 mile from Skibbereen and well signposted from the Skibbereen - Schull road.
